The EWG promotes a Cancer Defense Diet that begins by building your plate half full of fresh fruits and vegetables that are jam packed with nutrients and phytochemicals. Include a variety of flavors and colors in each meal to optimize the nutrition in every bite! Include more plant-based protein in your meals like lentils, beans, nuts and seeds and limit the amount of processed and red meat that you are eating. Complete your meal with a whole grain like quinoa or brown rice which are full of fiber and B vitamins!
