[4:13] As I started doing all this research, I had no idea about what they call the age wave, or some call it the silver tsunami. But eleven thousand baby boomers turning 65 every single day for the next 10 years.
[5:03] Families are getting smaller, so the number of family caregivers today for every person over 80 is seven. By 2050, they're only going to be three.
[6:36] We match older adults who need little bits of help an hour or two at a time with people in the community.
[9:07] We meet everyone in person and we want to look at them eye to eye and make sure that they are motivated by the right compassion to do this.
[11:12] Virtually one hundred percent of our clients that have used us have come back.
[12:07] Neighbors are so proud to be a neighbor that they are recruiting their friends to be neighbors. The average neighbor is only working four to six hours a week.
[19:10] We've done 13000 visits and we never missed one.
[23:50] In all those visits from, you know, May of 2020 through today, we've never had a transmission of the virus from either direction.
[25:25] Our average neighbor is working four to six hours a week. You know, this is not somebody who needs benefits. They're not looking for that.
[27:24] We're convinced that the neighbors of all the constituencies get the most out of it. It's so fulfilling to them and it is like volunteering and they make a little money.
