Susan Sands:  I really believe that as we get older, the most important thing we can do for ourselves is to tune into our inner bodies, our inner sensations, and build body awareness.

Susan Sands:  Each part of the lifespan has its own advantages and benefits. And we can learn a lot from it.

Susan Sands:  The women's positivity movement has made a lot of strides with having full size women in ads.

Susan Sands:  Studies show that the majority of Western women throughout their lives are dissatisfied with their appearance.

Susan Sands:  There's this other measure called body appreciation. So we actually appreciate our bodies more for what they can do.

Susan Sands:  Of course we're happier if we're just focusing on things that make us more happy.

Susan Sands:  We're really primed as we get older to become more embodied, to really live in our bodies.
