Show Notes:
Zenka Caro: We're going to talk about the MC Squared program and the six relationships habits that will transform your physical health.
Zenka Caro: This caught everyone by surprise that our longevity is connected to the health of our relationships.
Zenka Caro: Obesity, smoking, drinking, all of that really is going to pale in comparison to loneliness.
Zenka Caro: Lonely can mean I'm not feeling understood by others. I feel distress. I feel fear.
Zenka Caro: As adults we’re like freight trains. We're like going in one direction. It's very, very hard for us to pivot and move.
Zenka Caro: This is mindfulness support for those messy moments, they are mindfulness support for when everything is going wrong.
Zenka Caro: This is the really sad part about the science, is that our subconscious runs ninety five percent of our decisions.
Zenka Caro: When you're on autopilot, you're missing out on your life as you're living it.
Zenka Caro: You probably know that when someone's talking, it's not always really what they're saying.
Zenka Caro: Turn judgment into curiosity.
Zenka Caro: People are judgmental, right? We judge each other. And how can you heal from something, how can you change when you're in that defensive mode?
Zenka Caro: Finding your breath is Doro’s legacy and it's been so profound in the work that we've done.
Zenka Caro: It's like a cleansing of all the stress or all of this or all of that, that I'm feeling, and it brings me into the new experience that I'm going to have.
Zenka Caro: When you live through someone else's opinion or their structures or their life, you're basically denying the world of what you bring.
Zenka Caro: It's important to get out of this judgment of other people shaming other people and really just allowing ourselves to figure out what we think.
Zenka Caro: You have to forgive yourself. Maybe you have to look in the mirror and say, ‘I did the best I could.’
Zenka Caro: Forgiveness is the way to clean slate that so you can put your energy toward these things in your life that you want to grow.
Zenka Caro: It's important to connect back to your joy, and it's also great to give joy.
Zenka Caro: Tell people that you appreciate them.
Zenka Caro: We believe that if you can master these relationship habits, you're going to become resilience in these shifting times.
Zenka Caro: In order for us to achieve our our vision, to strengthen our relationships and strengthen our health or physical health, it really has to happen relationship, by relationship, by relationship.
