Catmosphere is a non-profit organization raising awareness around big cats and the challenges they face. Bev speaks about the importance of big cats in relation to our environment and why their protection is so important. She also tells us about the Catwalk, a global outdoor 7k walk designed to raise awareness about Big Cat conservation.

[02:30] Our goal is really to raise awareness among the general public around big cats and the challenges that they face.
[04:26] What summer school was was really our first push at educating people about big cats in a way that was fun and relatable.
[05:57] I think a lot of people just think of, you know, these big, scary cats or what you see on safari, but it's much more integrated. And as you all know, the natural world, really everything feeds off of everything else.
[08:21] We brought on some really interesting partners and we are partnered with the International Olympic Committee, and they're encouraging athletes to participate.
[12:12] We see this as growing into an annual event that has really global scale and really sets two purposes. I think obviously getting people to get out and get fit and exercise and spend time with those that they love and also just to educate people about the big cats.
[14:40] And then if you have kids walking with you, there's an option to pick Catwalk Cubs, so you'll pick which kids are doing what, and then you're really all set to go.
