Erin Mathis: I guide women to create authentic style from head to toe that helps them make the impact they want to attract the people and opportunities they want to attract and to feel the way they want to feel.

Erin Mathis: I had done a pretty dramatic makeover on myself and I noticed the impact that it had in my own life and my opportunities and how I felt.

Erin Mathis: Style is kind of this magic wand that you can use to transform.

Erin Mathis: Number one, figure out who you are and what is your style archetype.

Erin Mathis: If you're going to create style, you want it to be authentic to who you are, your personality.

Erin Mathis: Many times the qualities that we are drawn to in those favorite images actually represent our personality.

Erin Mathis: If you don't stop and be mindful and say, Hey, who am I now? How can I represent that in the physical part of myself? Then it's easy to kind of get stuck in a rut.

Erin Mathis: Color has a huge impact. So how do you choose which colors work for your personality? How do you put them together? 

Erin Mathis: There's techniques that can help you look more youthful if you want younger, fresher, relevant, or just more flattering.

Erin Mathis: It's such a common experience to hit midlife and need to do a reset and a reevaluation. And not just your image, but your health.

Erin Mathis: It's so much simpler to have an alterations person or a tailor that you can just take in the waist a little bit or adjust the length and you end up saving so much time rather than shopping so many hours.

Erin Mathis: Everybody is beautiful and it's just a matter of learning to balance and create visual harmony with the body you've been given.

Erin Mathis: So everybody has these words. You end up with a list of words and adjectives that describe the quality of style that you like. Yours might be classic nautical. You find those words and then you build looks that relate with that.

Erin Mathis: Figure out what are my hang ups around my self image and my style, what's holding me back, what are my blocks?

Erin Mathis: I like to do meditation, transcendental meditation, anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
