Kristina Sell: I was really thrilled to put myself out there and I found plenty of opportunity.
Kristina Sell: I've been able to help people make the shifts.
Kristina Sell: Neurofeedback is just incredible because it does help people to get that feeling of mindfulness activities without doing them.
Kristina Sell: Biofeedback is like mindful breathing.
Kristina Sell: It trains the slowest waves in our brain that regulate our stress response in the amygdala, in the brainstem. And it comes and stabilizes us and brings people into a calmer, more relaxed state passively.
Kristina Sell: Each session is about 30 minutes of training. If we go longer than that, we tend to get a little too tired because it is really a workout for your brain.
Kristina Sell: Your brain will choose what it likes, whether it wants to be on the lower end or the higher end.
Kristina Sell: In big cities people need a lower frequency and we live out here in a really rural area and people don't need those triple zeros all the time because I think there's just less noise in general.
Kristina Sell: Trauma is really important when it comes to brain development.
Kristina Sell: The first five years of neurodevelopment is hugely important for the human brain.
Kristina Sell: Any type of adverse conditions that children are born into have a huge effect on health over the long term and as well as morbidity.
Kristina Sell: I do believe that healing trauma, we need a dynamic approach.
Kristina Sell: Those things that weren't talked about in our family are felt generationally.
Kristina Sell: I can't heal you, but I help move energy.
Kristina Sell: If we don't have healthy people, we can't take care of the earth and we can't take care of our society and the environment that we live in.
Kristina Sell: When we heal collectively, when we heal ourselves, it's helping everyone.
Kristina Sell: In just a few months we can really heal and repair a person's nervous system and sense of self.
